The monthly climatologies of NCHL and DCHL for the two 10-year periods 1987-1996 
and 1997-2006 are compared. The anomalies of NCHL+DCHL concentrations from 
the 1979-2006 monthly climatologies (NCHL+DCHL_anom_mgm3_Nof66N_1979-2006_z1-14.eps)
indicates there was a shift in the vertical distribution of NCHL and DCHL 
concentrations in the upper ocean around 1994-6. The vertical distributions of
positive and negative anomalies after ~1995 are reversed in comparison to those
before ~1995 with the positive anomalies moving near the surace and the negative
anomalies moving towards deeper depth.
